Job Title: Green Skills & Sustainability Tutor / Lecturer
Location: Leicestershire area
Salary: Up to 37,500 per annum (Depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

We are recruiting for a Green Skills & Sustainability Tutor to join an established education team within a secure custodial environment. In this role, you will deliver a City & Guilds Level 2 qualification focused on environmental responsibility, climate change awareness, and the emerging green economy.
Many of your learners will have experienced disrupted education or low confidence. Your role goes beyond teaching a syllabus—you will be building their self‑belief, raising their aspirations, and equipping them with the cutting‑edge knowledge needed to step into green career pathways upon release.
What You Will Be Doing- Engaging Delivery:
Plan and teach inclusive lessons covering sustainability principles, resource efficiency, and green behaviours. - Interactive Learning:
Use discussions, practical projects, and digital resources to make environmental topics relatable and real‑world focused. - Learner Support:
Adapt your style to support small groups of learners with varied abilities, tracking progress and giving constructive feedback. - Employability Focus:
Help learners connect environmental awareness to emerging jobs in the green sector, embedding basic literacy, numeracy, and digital skills along the way.
- Subject Knowledge: A strong background, qualification, or deep understanding of sustainability, environmental studies, green skills, or a related field.

Skills:
The ability to motivate, communicate effectively, and build positive professional relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds. - Strong Organization:
Confident in assessing work, tracking student progress, and maintaining accurate portfolios. - No Teaching Experience? No Problem! We highly welcome industry professionals or passionate environmental advocates looking to move into education. Our client will provide full support and fully fund your teaching and assessing qualifications on the job.
