• Drive educational enhancement and digital innovation across the institution.
• Advance digitally enabled learning and teaching, strengthen educational outcomes, and support an inclusive, high‑performing academic community.
• Lead the DMU Education Academy, providing strategic leadership for learning, teaching and digital pedagogy.
• Champion evidence‑informed, innovative approaches and build staff capability to foster continuous improvement.
• Contribute to university strategy and policy, represent DMU externally, and enhance the university’s reputation for educational excellence.

• Accomplished academic leader with scholarship and leadership in digitally enhanced learning and teaching.
• Doctoral level education or equivalent professional standing.
• Substantial experience leading educational enhancement and digital transformation within higher education.
• Strong track record of delivering innovative teaching and learning strategies that improve student outcomes and institutional performance.
• Experience steering large‑scale change programmes, managing multidisciplinary teams, and applying data‑informed approaches for improvement.
• Inspirational and inclusive leader with credibility and influence to engage effectively with colleagues, students and external partners.
• Committed to developing others, fostering collaboration, and creating a culture where excellent teaching and student success flourish.

• Salary: £95,620 – £106,533 (dependent on banding).
