Learning Support Assistants – Casual

We are seeking to appoint casual Learning Support Assistants to join our learning support team across our Prior Pursglove and Stockton Sixth Form College sites on a flexible basis.

The role is varied and hands-on. Working with 16+ learners across our mainstream and alternative provision, you’ll deliver study-skills sessions one-to-one and in groups, help with initial assessments and literacy and numeracy support, facilitate supported study, and help learners build the confidence and independence to succeed.

We’d love to hear from people with a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or who are prepared towards one — but above all, a genuine commitment to inclusive learning and high expectations for every student.

Although these contracts will initially be on a casual basis to provide cover as and when required, more permanent hours may become available at a later date.
