About the role
justteachers is working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Leicester seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their team after February half term. The school places a strong emphasis on early learning, phonics, and nurturing confident learners.
Start Date and ContractStart Date: Week commencing 23/02/2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Salary: MPS/UPS
- Strong understanding of early years and KS1 pedagogy
- Engaging and creative lesson delivery
- Positive behaviour management strategies
- Effective assessment and pupil tracking
- Strong communication with parents and colleagues
- QTS
- Experience teaching KS1
- Knowledge of phonics programmes (e.g. Read Write Inc.)
- Commitment to safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
