The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Work with individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources
Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and development
Contribute to maintaining positive behaviour and classroom routines
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or have significant experience working as a Teaching Assistant within UK schools
Have a good understanding of the primary curriculum
Be confident supporting pupils across different age groups and abilities
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be reliable, adaptable, and committed to supporting children's learning
Be available to work school hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
