To provide support for  individual pupils with an Educational Health Care Plan.

To assist the teacher in the delivery of the agreed educational plan, upon which the postholder will be briefed.

This role is not centred on supporting one individual learner; instead, it is adaptive in nature, requiring the postholder to work flexibly with a number of learners throughout the day.

Support learning activities, especially Literacy, Numeracy, Social Skills and emotional  a fully integrated member of the school’s staff team and as such have responsibility for working to agreed school policies and  aware of school and statutory frameworks that directly impact on their own work with pupils.
