Clarence Recruitment is delighted to be working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Leicester to recruit an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of French to join their successful Modern Foreign Languages department.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for a passionate linguist who can inspire students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing French. The school is seeking a dedicated teacher who can deliver engaging lessons that bring language learning to life and encourage students to appreciate French culture beyond the classroom.

The Role

As Teacher of French, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire students to develop excellent communication skills and cultural awareness.
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that support excellent progress for all learners.
Monitor and assess student achievement, providing effective feedback to drive improvement.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to participate.
Support curriculum development and contribute to departmental initiatives.
Encourage participation in enrichment activities, cultural events and language-focused opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards achieving it.
Specialises in French and can confidently teach across KS3 and KS4.
Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language learning.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and effective teaching practice.
Has high expectations for student achievement, behaviour and engagement.
Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student success.
Works collaboratively and contributes positively to the wider school community.
