Location: Leicester
Salary: 175 - 255 per day (MPS/UPS dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time Maternity Cover

Are you a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Leicester? This role offers a chance to inspire students through music and play a key role in a thriving performing arts department.
ResponsibilitiesYou will teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that encourage students to develop their performance, composition, and listening skills. There may also be opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. The school is proud of its strong musical culture, offering a wide range of concerts, productions, ensembles and extracurricular opportunities that enrich students' learning experiences.
Qualifications- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has a degree in Music or a related subject.
- Is passionate about music education and inspiring young people.
- Has experience teaching Music at secondary level.
- Delivers creative, engaging, and inclusive lessons.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Has high expectations for student progress and achievement.
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive department.
- Is keen to contribute to choirs, performances, school productions, and wider musical activities.
- Is committed to continuous professional development and educational excellence.
