Talbot House Children’s Charity are looking to recruit Specialist Support Assistants (SSAs) to work in our school.
We are a Non‑Maintained Specialist School with pupils ranging from Reception to Key Stage
4. Class sizes are rarely bigger than 6 pupils.
Job start: as soon as possible, pending your notice period.
Hours of work: term time only, Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:00 and 8:00–15:00 on Friday.
Alternative:
Monday to Thursday 8:30–16:30 and 8:30–15:30 on Friday. A total of 39 hours per week, including paid lunch periods.
Salary: £26,321.82 per annum (paid 52 weeks, not pro‑rata).
Requirements- Experience working with SEN pupils with complex needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, trauma and attachment, some pupils may have multiple needs.
- Death in service benefit, equal to 4 × basic salary.
