Overview
Drama Teacher Vacancy in Flourishing Arts Department, Leicester. Our client in Leicester is recruiting for a Drama Teacher starting in September or earlier. The school is co-educational with an excellent reputation and strong community ethos.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and high-quality Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 where applicable.
- Contribute to a dynamic and supportive Drama department.
- Develop innovative schemes of work and lead performances and productions.
- Support students to express themselves creatively both in and beyond the classroom.
- A degree in Drama or a related subject.
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE).
- Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for the performing arts and student development.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
