Clarence Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of ICT for a successful secondary school in Leicester. This opportunity is for the New Term 2026 and offers potential to become a permanent position. The role is to teach ICT across Key Stages 3 and GCSE, inspire students, and promote digital literacy, computing, and technology within a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective ICT lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that support pupil progress and achievement.
- Develop students' digital literacy, problem‑solving, and technological skills.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing intervention where required.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and attainment.
- Contribute positively to departmental development and school improvement initiatives.
- Support extracurricular and enrichment activities where appropriate.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching ICT at KS3 and GCSE level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology and digital learning.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for students.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Required to hold an enhanced DBS check in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance.
