Clarence Recruitment is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish (MFL) to join a successful secondary school in Leicester City from the new term on a rolling contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate language specialist to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Spanish whilst fostering an appreciation of different cultures and global perspectives.
Responsibilities- Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4.
- Deliver engaging, well‑planned, and differentiated lessons that inspire a love of languages.
- Develop students’ communication, literacy, and cultural understanding.
- Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and attainment.
- Contribute to the wider development of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote outstanding teaching and learning.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has a degree in Spanish, Modern Foreign Languages, or a related subject.
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for language learning.
- Can motivate, challenge, and inspire students of varying abilities.
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is committed to raising standards and supporting student success.
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
- Experience teaching GCSE Spanish is desirable but not essential.
- Competitive daily rates between £145 and £206 per day.
