Join a Thriving Leicester Secondary School as a Teaching Assistant. Clarence Recruitment is supporting a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Leicester City in appointing a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level
2) for an immediate start. The successful candidate will support students both inside and outside the classroom, working closely with teaching staff to ensure every learner is fully engaged and able to succeed. The school emphasises a supportive leadership team, positive learning environment, and commitment to staff development.

• Support students across a range of subject areas and year groups
• Deliver focused intervention sessions to small groups and individual pupils
• Assist students with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote engagement in lessons
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, pastoral teams, and parents where appropriate
• Provide classroom support that enables students to achieve their academic and personal goals

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience supporting children or young people within a school environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, flexible, and proactive approach
• Confidence supporting learners with a variety of educational needs
• Good organisational skills and the ability to use your own initiative
• A genuine passion for education and supporting student achievement
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
