The RoleYou will deliver engaging Music lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging creativity, confidence, and musical expression. The successful candidate will inspire students through practical and theoretical learning, helping them develop their performance, composition, and listening skills. The school has a strong commitment to the arts and values the contribution Music makes to student wellbeing, confidence, and achievement.
There may also be opportunities to support extracurricular activities, performances, concerts, and school productions.
- Holds QTS, a recognised teaching qualification, or has relevant Music instruction experience.
- Has strong practical musical skills and a genuine passion for Music education.
- Can deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
- Has experience working with secondary-aged students.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Encourages creativity, participation, and student confidence.
- Is able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Enjoys contributing to concerts, performances ensembles, and wider school events.
- Is committed to supporting students in achieving their full potential.
