Please Note:

This is a maternity cover role finishing July 2027.

• Support children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
• Assist teachers in the classroom to facilitate learning and development.
• Build and maintain relationships with pupils, promoting confidence and resilience.
• Collaborate with pastoral and therapy teams to support pupils' academic, emotional, and personal development.
• Provide support during lessons, break times and special activities.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive environment.

• Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to support teachers and pupils.
• Ideally some experience working in a classroom; if not, willingness to undertake training.
• Genuine passion for supporting children to learn.
• Flexibility and willingness to work closely with therapists.
