Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA)

Location: Leicester
Pay: 85 - 100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time

Clarence Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in Leicester that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from the New Term.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the classroom. You will work closely with teachers and students, providing targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping to raise attainment, build confidence, and promote positive learning outcomes.

• Support teaching and learning across a range of curriculum areas
• Deliver targeted interventions to small groups and individual learners
• Assist students with varying abilities, including those requiring additional support
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
• Help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams

• A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous school-based experience supporting children or young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
• Confidence supporting students with a range of educational needs
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to use initiative
• A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
