about the roleIf you’re passionate about supporting learners to achieve their ambitions this role could be for you! You need to have experience of Supporting Learners in a Further Education environment and you will hold a level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification or be willing to work towards the qualification, be keen to support learners and hold Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.

This support role is subject to the College’s Learner Safeguarding, Adults at Risk and Child Protection Policy and requires a strong commitment to promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
This position involves regular and sustained contact with students under the age of 18 within an educational establishment and is classed as regulated activity with children. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including a children’s barred list check, in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
