Supply Hive Wales is looking for a caring, resilient and experienced Nurture/SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a specialist school setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference to young people who may require additional emotional, behavioural and learning support.

The Role You will be supporting pupils who may present with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN), SEN, SEMH and behavioural needs
. The role will involve building strong relationships, helping pupils regulate their emotions and supporting them to engage positively with their education.
You may be working:

• 1:1 with individual pupils
• Supporting small nurture groups
• Helping pupils with emotional regulation
• Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour
• Supporting pupils back into the classroom and learning environment
• Building positive, trusting relationships

• Calm, patient and nurturing
• Resilient and confident when managing challenging behaviour
• Experienced supporting SEN/ALN or SEMH needs
• Able to build strong relationships with young people
• Proactive and able to use their own initiative
• Passionate about supporting pupils who need extra guidance and encouragement

This is an immediate start position for an initial two-term placement
, with the potential for the right person to make a significant impact within the school.
