Aspire People is currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Leicester from September.

Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we have opportunities to suit your availability, provided you can work school hours (8:30am-3:30pm).

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
• Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Encourage pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Help create a safe, positive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, teachers and parents.
• Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of each child.

• Previous experience working in a UK primary school or nursery (essential).
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
• Availability to work school hours (8:30am-3:30pm).
• A caring, patient and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The right to work in the UK.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
