Hello, I'm Angela, the Nursery Manager at Leicester.

You’ll be helping to provide cover for the children asand when needed. This could befor periods of holiday, sickness, or even vacancy gaps. Sometimes you'll support forafull day, or it may just be amorning or afternoon session. You'll likely start most of yourdays with afully formulated plan.... That will soonget completely derailed though... Pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care!

Creativity is key.

Teaching young children allows forhands onarts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. It's important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged. Of course we work within theEYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.

You’re a Level 2 or above qualified, Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar and you're looking for an Early Years Educator/Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner role that allows you flexibility of working shifts around your other commitments.

You enjoy supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children and were born to teach and shape the future of our younger generations.

You have a natural,nurturing, openness, awarm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.

(We can sometimes consider unqualified Educators, so if you can demonstrate the necessary values and enthusiasm for working within this environment, Nothing ventured nothing gained.)

• A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years. (We can sometimes consider unqualified Educators, as long as they demonstrate the necessary qualities, values and enthusiasm for working within this environment. If you think you've got the right attitude and abilities, who knows it might be the best thing you ever did. Nothing ventured nothing gained!)
• Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5, is advantageous
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable
