37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Salary:
Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our specialist school, where every lesson has the power to transform a young person's future. As our Maths Teacher, you'll deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire pupils to develop confidence in numeracy, overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll play a vital role in helping young people build the knowledge, skills and resilience they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

You may also take on the role of Form Tutor, providing pastoral support, building strong relationships with families and professionals, and helping pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons that motivate and inspire learners.
Plan, prepare and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of every pupil.
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and other professionals.
Support pupils' personal, social and emotional development.
Contribute to curriculum development and wider school activities.
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
Brings creativity, enthusiasm and a passion for teaching.

Experience with in SEN, SEMH or specialist education is desirable but not essential.
Miller House School is a brand-new school located in Stoneygate, Leicester. The school opened in September 2025, has a capacity of 80 pupils, and offers a co-educational provision for students with complex needs, including SEMH.
