As a Teacher of ESOL, you’ll plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that challenge and support students to make excellent progress from their individual starting points. You’ll develop schemes of learning, assess and monitor progress, provide meaningful feedback and maintain accurate student records and individual learning plans. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you’ll help ensure a high-quality and responsive learning experience that supports achievement and progression.

This full-time role includes teaching two evenings each week to meet the needs of our adult students.

You’ll have experience of teaching ESOL to adults, alongside experience of ESOL curriculum planning and delivering ESOL within a community learning environment. You’ll hold a recognised teaching qualification, a Level 5 subject specialism, and Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent. Most importantly, you’ll have a passion for helping adult students build confidence, achieve their goals and progress.

• Salary of non-qualified teacher £30,549; qualified teacher £34,239 to £45,987 per annum (this includes our recent pay award)
