Grade 4 Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant post sits at The West Park Academy, a primary school within a multi-academy trust, with a start in January 2026 or sooner. The core of the work is supporting children's learning, inclusion and behaviour, and building relationships with parents and carers. The post begins in an early years class, with scope to work across the primary age range later.

Full and relevant early years qualifications are required.

• Support children's learning in an early years class (F1), with scope to work across the primary age range
• Implement agreed behaviour management strategies consistently and effectively
• Build good relationships with children, parents and carers
• Promote inclusion and help improve outcomes for all children

• Full and relevant early years qualifications from the UK government list

• Proven track record of improving outcomes for all children

• Understanding of children's needs

• Good communication skills
