Assessor​/Trainer - Engineering

This assessor and trainer role sits in the engineering area of Northampton College, which teaches apprentices and students across several vocational subjects. The post centres on assessing learners and delivering engineering training, with the full job description attached separately. It is a 37-hour role, and applicants need the right to work in the UK because the College does not sponsor visas.

• English and maths GCSE grade C/4 or above
• Industry qualification at least one level above the level being assessed, explored at shortlisting

• Written and verbal communication, with active listening, across a diverse group of colleagues, learners and stakeholders
• Use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and other IT/ICT systems
• Managing and prioritising multiple tasks to prescribed deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
