Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and dedicated renewables engineer to join our team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing faults in renewable energy central heating and hot water systems, providing technical support and advice, and ensuring all work is completed in line with safety standards and regulations. The engineer will collaborate closely with engineering and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnosing and repairing faults within renewable energy central heating and hot water systems across the region.
- Providing technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.
- Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet required quality standards.
- Communicating updates and progress of work, completing required paperwork electronically and manually.
- Ensuring adherence to all health and safety requirements, risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH records.
- Complying with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.
- Friendly and professional attitude, building strong relationships with clients and tenants.
- Experience in renewable energy heating and hot water systems (essential).
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Gas qualifications are desirable.
- All appropriate criminal and reference checks completed before starting work.
- Valid driving licence.
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (1 hour for lunch).
