Excellent opportunity for an experienced Graduate Structural Engineer who has gained post‑graduate design experience to join a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy the Leicester region. My Client is a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy who offer innovative and sustainable structural engineering solutions for a wide range of projects. Their team of highly experienced and skilled engineers is dedicated to delivering high‑quality services to clients who are based across the construction sector.

This role offers such a great opportunity to be exposed to a multitude of building design projects that it really will enhance your design skills and expertise as you progress with your career as a Structural Design Engineer.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (min. BEng / BSc) and will have gained post‑graduate design experience in the production of building design works i.e. foundations, beams, columns, slabs, retaining walls, steel frames, etc. and in the use of common build materials (steel, concrete, timber and / or masonry). Highly motivated and talented you will bealready progressing with you career and will have gained experience of structural design for buildings.

The role will enable you towork closely with the Senior Engineers and Project Managers to assist in the structural design and analysis of a multitude of schemes.

Due to their broad Client base you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects enabling you to really draw upon your current skills and expertise whilst also further developing and enhancing your skills to become a really well‑rounded Structural Engineer.

• Be able to make positive contributions to projects and to Design Team Meetings
• Have a good eye for detail, strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

The role will require you to be actively involved in the production of structural designs and design calculations as well as project documentation and site visits under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer.
