Senior Process/Project Engineer (Pre-Sales & Execution)
We at Work Lyf group are recruiting a Senior Process/Project Engineer for our global client based in Warrington. Must have hands‑on experience with hygienic installation.
Working for a leading engineering and equipment company, the Senior Process/Project Engineer will report to the Head of Project Execution for Non‑Alcoholic Beverages (NAB) and Home/Personal Care (HPC) and will be responsible for the production of designs, technical and commercial proposals and project execution (detailed designs through commissioning). He/She will also project manage small projects and support and mentor less experienced engineers.
Requirements- Food/Dairy, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in leading/managing process/equipment bids & proposals
- Client facing presentations / design‑cost justification
- Engineering and equipment supply for hygienic processes – food, dairy, beverage, pharma or home and personal care
- Independently produce designs (P&IDs, mass/energy balances) from ‘blank canvas’
- Independently and accurately calculate process capacities, equipment and piping sizes
- Independently assess risks and assure compliance to QSHE rules
- Manage small projects (scope, changes, cost, time & quality)
- Manage a small number of engineers and contractors
- Support and mentor less experienced engineers
- Have in‑depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, formulations ingredients (liquids & solids), technology and equipment suppliers for food/dairy/beverage or home and personal care
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiating skills
Travelling:
This position will require worldwide travelling, company car and fuel allowance provided after probation period.
Hybrid working after probation period.
Benefits- Salary Range: £70k but negotiable based on experience
