The Team

The Asset Lifecycle and Planning team is part of the Assets division s team plays a crucial role in providing reliable electricity transmission services to our customers by optimising asset reliability and operational performance throughout the asset lifecycle.

To achieve this, the team undertakes a comprehensive approach that considers factors like safety, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance throughout the asset's life cycle.

The Opportunity

Based full time in Adelaide, South Australia, as a mid-level career Engineer, you will provide expertise and guidance in the development of Asset Class Strategies, Asset Design Manuals, Maintenance Strategies and Functional Requirements. This includes reviewing capability and authority for deviation from existing standards, or adoption of new practices, associated with detailed design, plant selection, acceptance and managing existing and emerging risk associated with construction and commissioning including installation, testing and operation.

As part of the Asset investment function, you will develop project scope documentation and support delivery team from planning through to handover as owner customer.

Those that are at a more senior level career Engineer, you will also provide technical leadership for Substation services and infrastructure thus ensuring compliance to Electra Net’s Regulatory performance and network operation obligations. As a principal engineer they provide oversight and leadership to the Technical Authority across the business in their area of expertise.
