Overview

We’re supporting a leading engineering consultancy seeking a Project Lead Offshore Structural Engineer to drive structural assessment, advanced analysis, and life‑extension strategies for offshore oil & gas facilities across the UK and international regions.

Responsibilities

Lead structural assessment and life‑extension strategies for offshore facilities, ensuring safety, reliability and industry compliance
Perform advanced SACS analysis covering in‑place conditions, fatigue, seismic, abnormal and accidental load cases
Provide project leadership and technical oversight to structural engineering teams
Ensure full technical compliance with industry codes, standards and offshore regulations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated offshore solutions

Qualifications

Degree‑qualified in Structural, Civil, or related Engineering discipline
Extensive experience across offshore structural design, assessment, analysis and life‑extension projects
Strong SACS analysis capability (essential)
Strong understanding of API/ISO offshore structural standards and safety regulations
Experience working on offshore life‑extension projects
Proven leadership skills managing and coordinating engineering teams
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities
Confident working with client teams and delivering high‑quality technical output
