The Opportunity
A leading engineering consultancy is expanding its design team and is seeking an experienced PDMS/E3D Piping Designer to support major long-term projects. You’ll play a key role in developing process piping packages for large-scale, safety-critical facilities, working closely with engineers and designers across multiple disciplines.

This role would suit candidates working in these roles
Piping Designer, PDMS Designer, E3D Designer, Plant Layout Designer, Mechanical Designer, CAD Designer, Piping Draughtsperson, Piping Layout Engineer, Piping CAD Technician, or Process Plant Designer.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Creating and updating piping models and drawings using E3D/PDMS to support project delivery.
Producing, reviewing, and verifying design documentation for piping systems and associated layouts.
Contributing to design reviews and offering technical input to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Working collaboratively with process, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to resolve design challenges.
Assisting the Lead Piping Engineer with progress reporting and supporting the smooth delivery of work packages.
You will have the following qualifications and experience
Strong background in piping layout and design for complex process environments across new build and modification projects.
Demonstrable experience in generating high-quality piping design outputs and deliverables.
Proficiency in E3D (MODEL and DRAW) or equivalent plant design systems.
Experience working on live or construction sites to resolve coordination or design issues.
Solid understanding of relevant design standards, best-practice guides, and industry regulations.
