Environment, Health and Safety Manager

A leading civil engineering and infrastructure business is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to support major projects across the UK. • Supporting the development and delivery of the company‑wide HSEQ strategy.
• Driving performance against HSEQ KPIs and promoting continuous improvement.
• Leading and advising operational teams on compliance, risk management, and best practice.
• Conducting site inspections and audits across live projects.
• Supporting and guiding investigations into incidents, near misses, and hazards.
• Producing accurate HSEQ reports for senior management.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a dedicated HSEQ role within construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and ideally holding/working towards CMIOSH status.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001).
• Experience supporting multiple projects or operational sites.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, capable of driving cultural change.
• Competence in incident investigation and risk assessment methodologies.
