Job Duties
  • Install, maintain, service, and repair mechanical engineering plant and hospital equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults in heating, ventilation, steam, and water systems
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance inspections and compliance checks
  • Perform calibration, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
  • Interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and technical specifications accurately
  • Support installation and assembly of new mechanical equipment and systems
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and complex technical faults
  • Participate in shutdown planning and critical system interruption activities
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and statutory regulations
  • Work independently or collaboratively across hospital estates sites
  • Use specialist tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively

Job Requirements
