The Fire Risk Assessor's Role

The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality fire risk assessments and fire safety advice across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, healthcare and education properties.

• Conduct Type 1, 2, 3 and 4 fire risk assessments, ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation and guidance.
• Produce detailed reports, identify fire safety risks, recommend remedial actions and liaise with clients to provide practical solutions.
• Work on projects including residential blocks, commercial premises, healthcare facilities and educational buildings.

• Experience undertaking fire risk assessments independently.
• Recognised fire risk assessment qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Membership of the IFE, IFSM or a similar professional body advantageous.
