Senior​/Principal Transport Engineer

Position Overview

You will manage and deliver all aspects of transport statements and assessments on civil and structural engineering projects within the commercial, residential, industrial, and education sectors, on projects up to £50 million in value.

• Prepare high‑quality, accurate transport statements and transport assessments and project documentation.
• Carry out complex junction analysis and provide clear, practical recommendations.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent client relationships.
• Represent the company at meetings and liaise with highways engineers, planning consultants, architects, and clients.

• BEng/MEng qualification in civil engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post‑graduate experience.
• Chartered or working towards chartership through ICE, CIHT or TPP.
• Strong knowledge of national and local transport policies and requirements.
• Proficient in relevant transport/traffic modelling and industry software.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, collaborative team player with leadership skills.
