Graduate Civil and Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Producing calculations and drawings for civil and structural engineering works associated with complex large scale projects including earthworks, roads and drainage, plant structures, steel framed and masonry buildings, foundations and water retaining structures
• Analysis of structures using Robot Structural Analysis, Tekla and MathCAD
• Use of Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and Infor Drainage
• Liaising closely in house and externally with clients, clients' engineers, contractors, statutory bodies and work to agreed delivery programs
• Review project files for compliance with standards/protocols; implement best practice procedures
• Academically qualified to BSc or MSc in civil engineering
• Experience of design and analysis software using CADS/ROBOT/TEDDS
• Experience with MathCAD and structural analysis software desirable
• Excellent organisational skills
• Knowledge of industry standards and ability to produce construction standard drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit

• Academically qualified to BSc or MSc in civil engineering
• Experience of design and analysis software using CADS/ROBOT/TEDDS
• Experience with MathCAD and structural analysis software desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
