Workshop Engineer (Pumps), £40,000 – £50,000 Monday – Friday, Warrington
Are you an experienced Workshop Engineer, Pump Engineer, Service Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience working on pumps? Do you enjoy fault finding, overhauling equipment and working within a well-equipped workshop environment?
We are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a rapidly growing engineering business in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful, family-run company that has recently been acquired by a major European engineering group, providing the stability of a global organisation while maintaining a supportive, close-knit culture.

The Role
As a Workshop Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, repairing and overhauling a wide range of centrifugal pump systems used across the building services, industrial and wastewater sectors.
Your responsibilities will include:
Servicing, repairing and overhauling centrifugal pumps
Mechanical and electrical fault finding
Diagnosing and repairing pump systems to a high standard
Reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings
Completing workshop-based repairs and testing equipment before dispatch
Working safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
Previous hands-on experience servicing, repairing or overhauling pumps
Ideally you will have experience gained with a pump manufacturer, pump distributor or pump service company
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
The ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings
An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
