Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Wanted - Immediate Start!

Leicester | £35K+ | Permanent, Full‑Time

Work within a growing precision engineering company ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of CNC and specialist machinery. The role requires an experienced engineer skilled in fault finding and repairing CNC multi‑axis machines.

• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an engineering environment, including fault finding and repairing CNC multi‑axis machines
• Experience with Fanuc & Siemens controls

• Experience and knowledge of present and emerging technology, up‑to‑date knowledge of equipment and techniques

• Provide mechanical maintenance to a wide range of CNC and specialist machinery
• Perform mechanical repairs on gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drive chains, pumps and tanks
• Manage and resolve reactive breakdown repairs, reducing machine downtimes to a minimum
• Carry out major refurbishment of plant, equipment and machinery as required
• Carry out PPM
• PLC fault finding and interrogation
