A leading engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Mechanical Ventilation Engineer to support the delivery of critical projects within a highly regulated environment, contributing to technically challenging and safety-focused work.

Candidates with experience in nuclear, defence, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, or heavy industrial sectors are encouraged to apply.

• Develop and deliver ventilation and HVAC system designs, including calculations for airflow, pressure, and system performance
• Produce detailed technical documentation such as specifications, design reports, and engineering drawings
• Ensure all engineering outputs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and safety requirements
• Support projects throughout their lifecycle, including design reviews, installation phases, and commissioning activities
• Evaluate and improve existing systems, providing technical input for upgrades, maintenance, and fault resolution

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Proven track record in ventilation or HVAC system design
• Experience working within highly regulated environments such as nuclear, defence, or similar industries
• Strong knowledge of airflow principles, pressure systems, and ventilation design methodologies
• Skilled in producing clear, structured engineering documentation to meet quality standards
