Our client, a leading consultancy in the highways sector, is currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their innovative and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing roads, drainage, and sewer infrastructure for development projects
- Preparing and reviewing detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports
- Undertaking site development and infrastructure design for residential and commercial schemes
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, statutory bodies, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Supporting the delivery of projects from feasibility through to construction
- Ensuring designs comply with current industry standards, regulations, and client requirements
- Assisting with the coordination and management of project documentation and drawing packages
Essential
Experience:
- Proven civil engineering design experience within a consultancy, developer, or house builder environment
- Experience in site development, roads, drainage, and sewer design
- Strong understanding of UK design standards and approval processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a team environment
- Practical design experience is essential
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE) preferred
- Candidates actively working towards Chartership will also be considered

- Autodesk Civil 3D
- Expert level - Autodesk AutoCAD
- Expert level - Autodesk Info Drainage (formerly Autodesk Inflow) - Experienced user
- Site3D
- Competent user - Causeway Flow
- Competent user - Microsoft Outlook
- Mail Manager or similar document management software
