Our client, is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Leicester. This is a permanent role, focusing on the development and maintenance of infrastructure projects, particularly in highways and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and managing infrastructure development projects

Preparing technical assessments (TA) and flood risk assessments (FRA)
Designing and implementing highway and drainage solutions

Utilising software such as Micro Drainage, AutoCAD, and Civil3DCollaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success

Providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers

Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Conducting site visits and office-based project management three days a week

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in civil engineering, specifically in development infrastructure

Strong proficiency in Micro Drainage, AutoCAD, and Civil3DExperience in highways and drainage project design and implementation

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to manage multiple projects effectively

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification

Chartership is beneficial but not essential
