Structural Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established engineering consultancy in Newark
, working across structural projects within the education and public sectors.

The business is particularly keen to speak with engineers who have around 2-3 years' post-graduate experience and want to continue developing their technical capabilities across both design and inspection work.

You'll gain varied experience across Education, Leisure, Industrial and Commercial
, with hybrid working available once you're established within the team.

You'll be involved in:

• Supporting the design and delivery of structural engineering projects
• Working across school and education schemes
• Undertaking council and structural inspections
• Preparing technical reports following site assessments
• Producing structural design calculations and technical information
• Assisting with drawings and project documentation
• Coordinating with clients, consultants and wider project teams
• Supporting projects through different stages of design and delivery

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline
• Around 2-3 years' post-graduate industry experience
• Good understanding of structural design principles
• Experience working on building structures
• Ability to undertake site inspections and assessments
• Confidence producing clear technical reports
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Salary of 32,000- 37,000
  , depending on experience
