Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing business, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Leicestershire. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical design background, experience using Autodesk Inventor, and the ability to develop accurate, high-quality designs for precision engineering applications.

Job Description- Design precision machine components, tooling, and fixtures for aerospace engineering applications
- Produce detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor
- Develop design solutions in line with technical specifications, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements
- Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure designs are practical and suitable for production
- Support design modifications, problem-solving, and continuous product improvement
- Previous experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar design-focused role
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, with experience producing 3D models and technical drawings
- Experience designing precision machine components, fixtures, or tooling
- Background within aerospace, precision engineering, or a similar manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
