Senior CAD​/CAM Engineer

Senior CAD/CAM Engineer Sheffield Up to £60,000 per annum  benefits Days only, Monday - Friday Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced CAD/CAM Engineer to join a leading business within the aerospace and precision engineering sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimising CNC machining programmes, supporting manufacturing operations and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimise CNC programmes using Siemens NX. Utilise Vericut for machine simulation and programme verification. Create efficient machining strategies and toolpaths. Support CNC machining operations and resolve programming issues. Work closely with production and engineering teams. Identify opportunities to improve machining efficiency and reduce cycle times.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a CAD/CAM Engineering role. Competent with Siemens NX and Vericut (essential). Strong understanding of CNC machining processes.

Experience with multi-axis machining would be advantageous. Aerospace or precision engineering experience preferred. Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models.
