Head of Finance

Location: Leicestershire

A UK manufacturing business with an international customer base is seeking a Head of Finance to lead its finance function. The company supplies specialist products and has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation.

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial control, reporting, and compliance, while supporting business planning and decision-making. The role includes managing and developing a small finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Contribution to budgets, forecasts, and business planning
• Oversight of statutory accounts preparation for relevant entities
• Management of purchase and sales ledger operations
• Support for tax compliance including VAT, Corporation Tax, and P11
  
  Ds
• Monthly payroll and pension administration
• Mentoring and developing team members

Key

Skills & Experience:

• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
• Experience in budgeting and financial planning
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
• Confident communicator able to present financial information clearly to stakeholders
