Leicester Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (DOE / Quals)

Permanent, Full-Time Hybrid Working Available (2 days office / 3 home) We’ve been assigned her at Cherry to assist a thriving business in the next steps of their journey where a Financial Controller is next up to support their growth plans.

The Role Wanted is a hands-on Financial Controller to lead our finance function and ensure robust financial control as we scale. You’ll own the numbers, manage the accounts and tax operations, and deliver accurate reporting to the Board. This is a pivotal role in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong technical skills and the ability to influence at senior level.
Key Responsibilities Oversee month-end processes and prepare management accounts. Present financial results to the Board and address queries confidently. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow. Ensure tax compliance in the UK and internationally. Lead year-end statutory accounts and audits. Drive process improvements and efficiency within the finance function. Manage an overseas accounts team (7 staff including a Management Accountant).
Skills & Qualifications ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified preferred however By Experience strongly considered along with almost qualified if he experience is there. Strong Excel skills and deep knowledge of accounting principles. Proven ability to lead teams and work independently. Hands-on approach with attention to detail. Experience in a fast-paced environment; ideally managing overseas teams Cherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
