A specialist consultancy working across the built environment sectors is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead day to day financial operations.

Your new role
This is a standalone position suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and making a direct impact within a growing, supportive organisation. Responsibilities will include:

• Manage daily finance activities: invoicing, accounts payable, supplier payments, credit control and cashflow
• Oversee timesheets, expenses, and internal financial processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Produce management information (MI) and provide financial insight
• Liaise with external accountants for statutory and year end requirements
• Improve financial systems and processes; experience with Xero is beneficial

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part qualified finance professional (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills. They will demonstrate a high level of accuracy, excellent attention to detail and confidence working with advanced Excel.

Experience with in the education or construction sectors is advantageous, along with a proactive and collaborative approach suited to a standalone finance role.
