Associate, Capital Markets

We’re supporting a high-performing private capital manager on a newly created Associate hire within their Capital Markets team in London. This group sits at the centre of the platform, partnering closely with the investment team on all debt-related activity across the private equity portfolio.

As the firm continues to scale across private credit and private equity, this role has been created to add execution capacity and strengthen the internal capital markets function.

• Debt execution — running financing processes, sourcing lender terms, and supporting negotiations across portfolio companies
• Debt facility management — refinancing, amendments, covenant monitoring, and capital structure optimisation
• Risk management — supporting FX and interest-rate hedging
• Lender relationship management with banks and credit providers
• Supporting ongoing systems/process improvements as the team grows

• Candidates with 2–5 years’ experience coming from:
• Leveraged Finance (origination)
• Debt Advisory / Capital Structure Advisory
• Capital Markets or Treasury teams within a Private Equity firm (debt execution, refinancing, hedging, lender engagement, etc.)

They’re seeking people with strong exposure to leveraged transactions, LBO financing, term sheets, credit documentation, lender dynamics, and capital structure advisory.

• Strong modelling and credit analysis skills
• Confident running multiple financing processes in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and commercially minded
• Strong academic background
