Orka Financial is partnering with a growing business based in Hook who are looking to hire a progressive Assistant Management Accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier) to join their clients established finance team. The role requires experience in assisting month-end accounting tasks.

The Assistant Management Accountant role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting processes and the chance to take ownership of key financial responsibilities.

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support cash flow monitoring and forecasting
• Assist in cost analysis and margin reporting to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Help manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders
• Support the preparation of variance analysis between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintain and update financial databases, spreadsheets, and reporting templates.
• Assist in audit preparation, providing schedules, explanations, and supporting documentation as required.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
