Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who is looking for a progression route from Senior Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner, or FP&A disciplines into a role as the UK Financial Controller of a small but fast-growing company.

You will join a rapidly growing and expanding company in the manufacturing sector who have recently moved to a new facility in anticipation of forecasted growth.

This role will play a key part in managing financial operations, partnering with the business to control costs, reporting to the CFO and being a key support to the local CEO.

• A professionally qualified accountant with 5 years’ experience overall, you will hold an ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA or other recognised professional accounting membership.
• Experience gained in the manufacturing or a related sector, you will know stock, inventory, cost controls and how important it is to manage costs in a fast‑growing business.
• Expertise in Management Accounting, analysing this information and presenting reports that help management to make decisions, taking this one step further as an active business partner.
• P&L reporting and management, forecasting, analysis and what could broadly be termed in the FP&A disciplines would be ideal experience to help plan for success.
• Commercially minded, both in supporting top‑line revenue growth activities and of supporting bottom‑line profitability through cost control.
• You will work with the Group Finance team in France to ensure that the UK business is fully compliant with regulations and supporting group improvement initiatives for the finance function.
