Finance Business Partner - Overheads

Leicester (Hybrid) Bellrock Group is currently searching for a Finance Business Partner - Overheads. The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in providing commercial insight, cost control and decision support across corporate and central overhead functions. This role will partner closely with senior stakeholders to ensure overhead spend is well‑controlled, transparent and aligned to strategic priorities while supporting forecasting, budgeting and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced PE environment.

• Act as the primary finance partner to corporate and central functions (e.g. HR, IT, Marketing, Legal, Property).
• Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and financial insight.
• Translate financial information into clear, actionable insight for non‑finance leaders.

• Own and manage the overheads cost base, ensuring robust cost control and clear accountability.
• Analyse spend trends, identify risks and opportunities, and drive cost optimisation initiatives.
• Support investment decisions through business cases and ROI analysis.

• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic re‑forecasting process for overheads.
• Produce clear monthly reporting, variance analysis and commentary.
• Ensure forecasts reflect current business activity and PE expectations around accuracy and discipline.

• Support delivery of PE value creation plans through cost efficiency, scalability and insight.
• Assist with ad‑hoc analysis for senior leadership, investors and lenders as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, controls and reporting.

• Ensure overhead spend is compliant with internal controls, policies and approval frameworks.
• Support audit processes and respond to internal and external audit queries.

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) preferred.
• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role, ideally within a PE‑backed, services or facilities management environment.
• Strong experience managing overheads, cost control and budgeting.
• Confident communicator able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insight.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, change‑driven environment.
